Maxim’s says “winter” to me. It is warm and inviting with a very “clubby” feeling… I would want to keep the dinner to 75 guests maximum for comfort.

The theme should really be related to French food – either classical or bistro. A seated dinner should include multiple courses. Otherwise, I would do a buffet with stations built around the center of the dining room, cocktails in the bar and allow people to spill out into the foyer, which could support dancing.

Definitely take advantage of the stage in the dining room and do a pianist or small trio of sorts. Classic French restaurant food with small plates and chef’s finishing would be fantastic. It should be a party given by and for foodies…The Bagatelle Room would be good for late night sweets, cheeses, coffee, etc.

If you had to create an event at Maxim's, how would you throw it?
